Built by operators who've been inside the work.
Our mission
Ops Society is an operations-first consultancy built on a simple conviction: growth should not require one person to hold the entire business together.
We design the systems, ownership, and operating rhythm that turn ambition into consistent execution.

Experience across the business—not from outside it.
Ops Society was founded by Megan and Madeline Mayhut, operators whose work has consistently lived at the intersection of strategy, systems, and execution.
They have worked across the connective tissue of growing businesses: translating leadership priorities into executable plans, building workflows and reporting, connecting tools, clarifying ownership, and keeping complex cross-functional initiatives moving.
That range matters because operational problems rarely stay in one lane. A reporting problem may actually be an ownership problem. A tooling problem may be a workflow problem. A founder-capacity problem may be a decision-architecture problem.
The value is not arriving with a prewritten playbook. It is the pattern recognition to find the real constraint, the judgment to make the work simpler, and the operating experience to build what the business actually needs.
Good businesses shouldn't have to run on heroic effort.
Ops Society was created for founders and leadership teams whose ambition has outgrown the infrastructure beneath it.
The business may be growing. The team may be talented. The work may even be getting done.
But decisions still live in leadership’s head. Context has to be carried between teams. Meetings happen without creating movement. Every new stage of growth adds another layer of operational anxiety.
We build the structure that changes that.
Not bureaucracy. Not performative process. An operating system people can actually use.
How We Show Up
Clarity without theater.
We name what is true, make decisions visible, and remove ambiguity from the work.
Implementation, not observation.
We do not deliver a deck and disappear. We design, build, document, and land the system alongside the team.
Infrastructure that outlasts us.
The goal is not permanent dependence on Ops Society. The goal is a stronger business that can carry the work without us.
Senior expertise, assembled around the work.
Every engagement stays close to senior operational leadership. When the work requires additional depth, we bring the right expertise around the outcome rather than handing the client to a generic delivery bench.
We keep the client roster selective, the work practical, and the standard high.
Your growth is real. The infrastructure should be, too.
If the business has outgrown running on memory, instinct, or founder availability, let’s talk about what needs to be built next.
